Eagle Valley BaCC Summer 2: DaVinci

Seeing Leonardo and Rachael drawing together warmed my heart.  One day they would both be great artists like me.

I was well on my way to my next masterpiece, manfully ignoring Michelle.

She was not having a good day.  Gally, Dr. Carl’s second daughter, had called to tell us that he had been abducted again.  Michelle, it seems, and I didn’t know this, had a fear of true aliens.  I’d never seen her have any problems with Dr. Carl’s children, but she had feared him being abducted and when she heard, she just broke down.

I had hoped the Sim Shrink would be able to help her.  I think perhaps, he’s a quack.  Now that my newest masterpiece is done, perhaps all she needs is a good dose of inspiration.

And I do know what inspires my Michelle.

Ever since my children were born, I find less and less need for anyone outside of my family.  Michelle has even started making noises about, perhaps, a wedding.

I believe, if she asks, I will say yes.  Or perhaps I should ask her myself?  Decisions, decisions.

Michelle used our latest bout of inspiration, to inspire her to use this contraption to get charisma points.

She is dedicated to becoming the first Business Tycoon in Eagle Valley.

Our children are as close as twins, I would almost think they were, if it wasn’t for one simple fact.

Leonardo, grew up first.

I was so very proud of him!  The first thing he wished to do upon growing up was to learn to paint…. Of course that is not my easel!  My easel is sacrosanct!  Not even my dear Michelle is allowed to use my easel.  I bought him his own of course.  Rachael watched him for a time.

She then headed back to her table to draw.

Even with the easel, Leonardo still liked drawing on the children’s table as I worked on my own paintings.  Michelle was working on becoming friends with this person as well as learning logic.  She assures me that friends are necessary as more than muses if you want to get anywhere in business.

Once my latest masterpiece was finished, I took the time to teach Leonardo how to study before starting a new one.  I do believe Michelle would be better at this then me.  Leonardo did not seem to appreciate the answers that I gave him.  Of course, his teacher did not seem to appreciate my answers either.  Benjamin West was the perfect answer to the question “Name an ocean painter”, it’s not my fault the teacher forgot to add that last word.  Who cares about the names of the oceans?  All that matters is the artists and pictures that depict them.

Michelle had been working far too hard, but she wouldn’t listen to me about it.  Perhaps marriage was not for us if she cared so little that she fell asleep in the middle of the spaghetti.  She hadn’t had time to be my inspiration in days!

She did, at least, manage to be there when our daughter grew into a child.

But once again, I was the one having to help with homework.

Leonardo was always willing to make friends when he wasn’t drawing or painting.  When he saw this girl… Amarylis, I believe?  One of the daughters of Rose and Talin, he rushed out the door to greet her before she got too far away.

And when he brought Edwin Cameron home from school, he made sure to introduce him to Rachael.  He’s such a good big brother.

I’m still not sure what I’m going to do about Michelle.  She swears she’s only one promotion away from becoming a Business Tycoon, and as soon as that happens we’ll sit down and discuss our future.  I don’t know if I can last that long without a muse, and yet, I truly don’t want to set a bad example for the little artists we’re raising.

Eagle Valley BaCC Summer 2: Willow

 

 

The Willow/Deppiesse family  was chaos at times.

Daisy tried to stay out of it, working on her fishing in the hopes of getting into her dream job of Oceanography.

Sage and Amarylis were watching Talin and Iris work on their stations.  Iris had recently headed in to LaBoheme and bought a new set of clothes.

Rose found Aster buried in the roses.  And who knows where the twins were at the time.

Soon enough, though, it was time for birthdays, at least for the girls.  Sage was sleeping on his mat at the time.

Aster stuck with her favorite color, yellow.

Amarylis was much more ladylike than her sister.

And Sage, growing up late, managed to get all of the intention.  Even Tesla came by to see him grow.

Daisy continued to do her own thing.  She had met Matthew Bruty at her sister’s flower shop and come to like him quite a bit.  She asked him on a date.

He asked her for a kiss.

The kids all gathered upstairs.  Poppy was not happy that Aster was using the shower when she wanted to be in there, Sage and Peony were realizing they had the same hair, Amarylis was not being ladylike at all and Iris was playing chess.

When not fishing or dating Matthew, Daisy had been working on her cooking skill.  The family, well, Talin, Iris and herself, had been talking about opening a restaurant ever since Abe Beauregarde had brought it up.  Now that she had finally maxed her cooking skill, it was time to buy a new property.

They had decided that since Talin owned Fish Rodeo and Iris had Snap, Pop, then this restaurant, Daisy’s Diner, would belong to Daisy.  She quickly got to work familiarizing herself with her new cooktop.  Learning about cooking through a book and actually using a stove/oven were completely different things.  Talin had decided he was going to be the server because at least he had 3 body points, while Iris, who was going to be hostess, had none.

Talin was not always the best server around.  This customer did not appreciate having his food dumped in his lap.

Iris caused some worrisome behavior.  Here she obviously had no idea what she was talking about (and I dearly hope that this was just because the dish he wanted didn’t have a corresponding picture).

And her way of greeting Tesla, who she had never so much flirted with, was extremely inappropriate.

She even headed outside to meet the good witch.

But then, Daisy did that too.

Anytime she could leave her stove, she headed outside to talk to the witch.  She’d had no idea that she wanted to be a witch before she began talking to Bim Kody, the Infallibly Good Witch.

But she made her decision.

Mona, the Atrociously Evil Witch, believed that was a waste of a good green skin, and often cursed the diner in retaliation.

Even with those distractions, Daisy’s Diner made it to level 5 before they headed home.

Back at home there was the garden to weed.

Games to be played.

Gardens to harvest.

And more games to be played.

Poppy and Sage stayed there for hours just daring the other one to drop and let them by.

Then it was time for the twins to age up.

Peony was not thrilled with the all green outfit she was wearing.  She didn’t mind the green shirt, but paired with a different shade of green pants, it was just too much.  She did decide to let her hair down from it’s ponytail and finally admit she needed glasses.  Peony had spent a bit of time with Tesla as she was growing up, and found she wanted to be an entertainer just like her.  She wanted money so that she’d have time for pleasurable pursuits.

Peony also liked the top she grew up in, but not so much the shirt.  Both twins decided to go see what the clothes shop had available as soon as possible.

Peony liked learning things, but had her heart set another way… woohooing 20 sims without a care to whether they’re male or female, she enjoyed both.

Poppy might have wanted to woohoo, but she didn’t really know how to go about it.

Poppy did like her green shirt, but found she preferred this one with the cargo pants she fell in love with.

While Peony stuck with purple but found something a little more her.

Daisy got to work with her cauldron.

She added something to the eggplant juice Talin started craving.

He drank glass after glass, feeling himself get smarter with every glass he drank.

With one knowledge point left Talin decided to work on his body skill on his own instead of with the eggplant juice and maybe lose some of the paunch he had acquired.  When he finished, he felt wonderful!  He had always wanted  to max his skills and finally he had gotten it done. (even if it was cheating in his mind).

Meanwhile Daisy called Matthew over.

And asked him a very important question.

He said yes, and moved in.

Since she didn’t want to keep the last name Deppiesse, they got married quickly.

And moved out to a premade house on Hawk Lane.

With Daisy having moved out, Talin and Rose tried one more time to have a baby, and this time they heard a lullaby.

Eagle Valley BaCC Summer 2: Hawking

I do not believe I ever truly understood how much LaShawn did around here. 

Before she joined the household, I survived off of cereal and lunchmeat sandwiches, so had no need to use the stove.

I was not particularly good at it.  If it was not for the child I was carrying needing nourishment at this time, I would not even be bothering.

There were also problems with the tub and toilet that I had not been required to put up with before.

I was not completely incompetent and managed to get Gally and Kepler fed before the bus.

Tesla took care of the misfunctioning plumbing.

The children were at school when I felt the familiar pains.

I named her Alva, after Thomas Alva Edison of course.  I was delighted to have proof of yet a third alien species.

When Tesla came home she immediately started taking care of all of the chores I had let slide.  Having her was certainly a good decision on my part.  Now if I could only convince her to stay…

She took care of Alva,

and helped Kepler with his homework.

She did ask that I continue working on LaShawn’s latest car since she wasn’t able to do so.  I reluctantly did so.

I was finally able to return to my beloved telescope.

I was not expecting to be abducted again so soon.  This time it was Gally and Kepler’s people that wished to ask me questions about how they were coping and growing.

Gally, as usual, could not wait to call her siblings and inform them that I had been abducted again.

I was quite pleased that I was not yet too old to have yet another alien child, even though I already had two with green skins.

Not one day later, I was abducted yet again, by a completely separate species that I did not have a child with yet.  I was not pleased that I was already pregnant.

Meanwhile things moved on as they tend to do.  Tesla asked that girl to go steady with her.

Gally was practicing her flying when she decided to grow up.

And did so without my permission.  She had some interest in knowledge but a greater interest in fortune.  What use do we have for money?  Even worse?  She wishes to be a video game designer!  It’s not quite as bad as an entertainer, but what am I doing wrong?

My son Edwin showed up in order to be there for his littlest sister’s birthday.  As did that girl.

Alva grew into a white skinned, golden eyed little girl who looks as if she is wearing makeup.

LaShawn came over to pick up Edwin and stayed to play with Kepler for a moment.

Tesla helped with Alva’s toddler training.

Although, I, of course taught her to speak and to call me Dr. Carl as they all do.  They all seem to have some trouble with the words though, even Tesla makes it sound more like “Dad” instead of Dr. Carl.

It is always such a surprise when I suddenly get bigger.  If I had not seen LaShawn go through the same thing I would believe it was because of the alien nature of the coming child.

Now that Gally is getting older, she is taking the time to get to know her family members.

Although I do not understand why hanging Alva upside down is her way of getting to know her.

She begged for a bass guitar, and since there was still a bit of money left over from the last car, I allowed her to get it.

However, she ended up spending far too much time outside.

She went to bed not feeling well and woke up with a sunburn.  How, exactly, does green skin get a suntan?

She ended up getting so overheated that she couldn’t even stand.  Perhaps not having any melatonin in her skin made her more susceptible to burning?

She even collapsed.

Perhaps it was contagious.

Soon it was time for the newest alien to be born.  I called for Tesla, but she didn’t come.

So once I gave birth to a child who also wanted to see Tesla, I headed upstairs.

She wasn’t there either, but I put the first one down to give birth to a second.  I hoped for a moment that the second child would be from the fourth group of aliens, but they were both green skinned, and both girls.  Why do they continue to give me girls?  After some thought and searching online databases, I decided to name them Joule and Volta.

LaShawn came over for Tesla’s birthday, as did that girl.

She did not seem to appreciate growing up, nor did any of the rest of us appreciate it, it seems.

No one even seemed to notice that girl growing up, into very inappropriate clothes.  Perhaps after this break down they will rethink each other.

The Sim Psychologist showed up to help Tesla out, I suppose.  Witch doctors!  Hmph!

Honestly, he didn’t help too much.

That girl helped more.

But then she convinced Tesla, my Tesla!  My first born alien child!  My only purple skinned alien child!  To move out.

I found a way to get over it.

Eagle Valley BaCC Spring 2: Toyonaga

At the end of last season, a lullaby was heard.  This season began by letting me know exactly who heard that lullaby.

Christy took care of beginning Marcus’ toddler training.

Delphinia headed down to Dance Fever.  She decided that she needed something to draw people in, so placed a poker table as well as a small bathroom and was able to up the price to $13.

Her father, wanting her business to be a success, came in and settled down at the poker table.

And he stayed.

And stayed.  While waiting for customers, Delphinia dug for treasures.  She found three maps, but decided to keep them instead of selling them.

Still low on money, she couldn’t afford to add a sunlamp to the building, and was far too stubborn to just go home and come back later.

She thought she could handle the lack of sunlight, dawn was only minutes away.

Luckily she collapsed outside, and the sun revived her.

After she revived, she actually had some patrons that wanted to actually dance.

Later that night, it was a night for green skinned people.

She also, finally got her gold sales badge and closed Dance Fever down.

When she reopened it, she charged $99 an hour.

And, paying that amount, she actually had people that came to learn to dance.

Finally, after many days and nights away, Dance Fever reached level 5 and Delphinia headed home with enough money to completely decorate the house and pay the taxes.  It was decided that for now, the nursery could handle both Marcus and the new baby.

Delphinia also had time to talk to Marcus and become his best friend.

Christy had learned how to make toys before ever meeting Delphinia and used that ability for Marcus.

He was very thankful for that ability.

Delphinia started looking for a job in the Dance career.  She finally found one after three days of looking, although it would not start until spring was over.

Delphinia invited her family over on Sunday (yes, Raebeth, the idea came from you)

Even though there was still snow on the ground, the plantsims enjoyed the water walker.

Marcus was so overcome by the many people around that he didn’t manage to get back to his blanket before falling asleep.

Delphinia was very surprised when she started throwing up.  She obviously hadn’t been listening very hard the last time she and her wife woohoo’d because she didn’t remember hearing the lullaby, but she hadn’t eaten anything *to* throw up.

When Christy went into labor, she thought it was an artistic moment, although Christy probably did not agree.

The little black haired brown eyed, brown skinned girl was handed over to Delphinia.

So her twin brother could be delivered.  Delphinia wanted the girl to be named something to do with flowers, just like the rest of her family.  Christy had recently been researching her family and found that their name came from Japan, and I had just been reading Naruto fanfic.  Therefore, the little girl is Sakura (Cherry Blossom) and the boy is Sasuke (Help Blossom?  That’s what Behind the name says).

With Christy still reeling from the birth, Delphinia put Sakura down.

So she herself could pop.

The house, which had seemed so big, was suddenly much smaller, as they had to place the cribs in the dining room and the change table in the living room, just so they’d have enough room.

Marcus thought he could help by heading outside and playing on his Twirl, Spin and Wobble.

He helped infinitely more by growing up.

They managed to build and decorate an upstairs, although Marcus’ bed is pretty much the only thing up there at the moment.  He agreed to leave his toys in the nursery so that his brother and sister can use them.

Marcus headed off to school in the morning.  He hoped to make a new friend at school, but wasn’t too worried about it.  He knew that the twins would be growing up into toddlers, who would be able to play with him after he got home that night.

Exhausted after a long day at school (and having gotten up very early because he was so excited) Marcus took a nap when he got home, and almost missed the twins birthday.  Luckily his moms woke him up so he’d be sure not to miss it.

Sakura popped into childhood just like she was supposed to.

Sasuke refused because he had  a dirty diaper, and had to be changed before he agreed to age up.

(I apologize for the awful twin pictures, I have *no* full on faces from them).

While he was up, Christy took on teaching Marcus to study.

Both parents worked on the toddlers skills.

Delphinia had just become best friends with Sakura, when she felt a pain.

Sakura wanted to know what was going on, and Sasuke woke up from the cries as Delphinia went into labor.

And yet another little girl was born.  This one they named Hana which was Japanese for flower (and is yet another name from Naruto).

That’s the end of this season!  Back to the Hawkings in summer (and I can’t wait, because the baby does not have the same parent as either of the others, so I want to see it!)

Eagle Valley BaCC Spring 2: Beauregarde

The season started with a party and some very interesting canoodling.  I obviously need to check the jealousy section of ACR.  I think I have it set to engagement, and since Talia and Michelle aren’t engaged, Michelle didn’t seem to mind this.

Of course, at least the no jealousy meant that there was no distraction to the actual birthday they were there to celebrate.

And Donnatella turned out cute.

Abe managed to talk to Daisy about a restaurant.  At the moment, the Deppiesses were the only family that had a chance to run one successfully.  They’d already proved they could run stores, and didn’t that annoy the man, but they had enough adults to run it… if they had one that could cook well enough.

The party ended without any drama.

For some reason Demi was the one everyone wanted.  She wasted no time telling this man that she wasn’t interested in kissing him.

Nor this one.

Thankfully he took well to the info that she was married and didn’t try again.

Donnatella grew surrounded by snapdragons.  She easily learned her skills.

Played with her bunny head.

And made friends.

With Donna growing so well, Demi was able to come to the store to help with restocking and sales.  They were able to expand the grocery with more freezer and produce cases.

At one point it got so busy they both had to work the cash registers just to keep up with demand.

But they always had each other to keep their aspirations up.

Back at home Demi decided to do something different and try to recreate a famous painting she had studied in college.

And the two of them decided it was time to expand their family.

It wasn’t long until Demi was rushing to the bathroom every time she turned around.

And one last trip to the loo before she started showing and her morning sickness was over.

Donna was continuing to be cute until it was time for her to grow up.

There was no birthday party this time, as Donna jumped into childhood.

And a quick makeover ends our season.

Eagle Valley BaCC Spring 2: DaVinci

I am Talia DaVinci!  Famous artiste!

This is Michelle Tse, the world famous artiste’s favorite muse and source of inspiration.

Perhaps… too much inspiration has been happening?

Things could have become very intriguing with both of us pregnant at the same time.

However, I did not even have time to get a picture with both of us and our bumps, much less be able to paint it.

A newboo, a beautiful little boy with my skin and my hair and Michelle’s beautiful eyes.  Perhaps he can be a different sort of inspiration?  I named him Leonardo of course.

Michelle was always willing to be my inspiration, no matter what state our bodies were in.

But an unpottytrained baby was no inspiration to either of us!

Michelle was far too pregnant to go to work, but do you think that stopped her?  Of course not.  When they wouldn’t send the car pool she walked to work, still dressed in her pajamas.

At least they drove her back, and she brought a friend home from work with her.

He was just in time, I had invited all of the families on our street that I knew.  I hadn’t realized I didn’t know the Toyonagas from across the street, I would have to fix that.

Everyone gathered around to witness Leonardo’s first birthday.  I was not at all surprised that Dr. Carl did not use a noisemaker.  I was far more surprised that he was there at all.

Leonardo was such a darling.

Most of the females joined me to hang out.  I was surprised to find that I didn’t even look twice at Demi, and tried to ignore Iris.  I was a … committed woman I guess.  This is also when I found out LaShawn had moved out of the Hawking place with her two children.  I hadn’t invited her because I thought when I invited the Hawking household she would come.  There was no divorce, because she and Dr. Carl had never married.  I wondered what Michelle thought of that.

Dr. Hawking and Abe were more than happy to settle down with little Leo and talk about space crafts while us girls had our time together.

After everyone left, I went to get Leo a bottle, only to have him grab one off the floor!  He made himself sick!  Poor baby.

I thought Michelle had made herself sick as well, when she started crying out and bending over, but she was just in labor.

Baby Rachael was almost the complete opposite of her brother.  They both had my skin, but Rachael had my eyes and Michelle’s hair.  Perfect!

I taught my little Leo how to say Mama for me and Mommy for Michelle.

I loved my little muses, but they didn’t leave me a lot of time to paint.

Especially when Michelle decided we should buy this place.  La Boheme was just a little clothing store with not much in it, but there were some people that desperately needed new clothes.  Iris told me that her sister, Daisy, had to wear a dress made out of leaves! because they couldn’t find anything at the house for her to wear.

I was happy for the extra money, we had taxes to pay and the house really wasn’t big enough for the kids, but… my art!

Little Leo finally had all of his toddler skills, and the store was closed, so I was finally able to find some time to paint, but not nearly as much as I wished.

And then it was Rachael’s birthday.  (I had wanted to name her Rafael, but Michelle had objected, and Demi already named her daughter Donnatella.  Maybe, if we have any more I’ll name them after real muses…)

Oh, little Rachael is just so adorable.  Look at her mommy’s hair!  And her mama’s eyes.

Being a mom is a type of inspiration of it’s own… but I miss my easel!

Eagle Valley BaCC Spring 2: Willow

Rose and Talin Deppiesse had a long discussion about possibilities.  They knew that their plantsim biologies made certain things easier for them than for other normal humans.  With three adult plantsims around the triplets should be easier to raise.  However, Rose’s wish to have ten children would be a bit more difficult.  She had already been a bit old when she had the twins.  Perhaps plantbabies would help complete the want?

Iris had gotten into her head that she wanted to open a store herself.  One that sold the snapdragons that she made on her flower arrangement table.  Thinking about it though, it was obvious that she wouldn’t be able to run it all herself, not and keep up with the demand of making the bouquets.

With all that in mind, Rose decided it was a perfect time to add to the family.

And spored Daisy.

Iris, as always, was willing to help out and taught her newest sister her nursery rhyme before the triplets became toddlers.

A time which came very soon.  Iris brought Amarylis, Talin brought Aster, and Rose brought Sage to the cakes, while Daisy, Peony and Poppy stood by watching.

Daisy wasn’t actually very interested, nor was Peony, but Poppy stayed around… probably for the cake.

Toddler skilling was a joint effort, especially since the garden still needed to be taken care of.

Peony and Poppy often were left to their own devices.  At least Poppy was mature enough to realize that the glowy eyed wolf was not the best friend to have.

And Peony was more than willing to ask for attention when she needed it.

Daisy was always willing to play at the table, especially if there was another toddler around to be friends with.

But everyone knew she wasn’t going to be a toddler for long.

Those that were awake came to see her grow up.

It didn’t make the house significantly quieter.

Especially when there were fights over bottles.

Not that it was Amarylis’ in the first place, she’d found it on the floor.

Sage didn’t care, though.  He wanted it now!

Is it any wonder some of them decided to head down to Snap-Pop, the new store?

Since this was Iris’ store, Talin decided to pass on all of the non money perks he had.  It took a very long time to pass the five of them on.

But finally it was ready to open.  Daisy was behind the counter learning to use the cash register while the business was still low level, while Talin sold things and Iris created more as fast as she could.

The business owners of Eagle Valley had made a decision.  Tourists were fair game, but people who lived in their little area were not.  They could buy if they wished and basic sells were fine, but they wouldn’t be dazzled into buying.

Daisy did get to try her hand at selling, especially if there were any cute guys around.

Rose was determined not to be involved in the businesses her husband and daughter ran, but she wasn’t against leaving the chaos of their home to come over for a date to get his aspiration up.

And the couch was there for a reason, was it not?

Once the business reached level 5, they headed back home.  Delphinia came over to see her family.

Her own land didn’t include a pond, and she had missed fishing.  It also gave her a chance to spend time with her new stepsister and half-sister.

Like her, Daisy wasn’t planning on just living off of sunlight and water.  She wanted to become an oceanographer and had heard that she could get a job in that career if she had a gold fishing badge.

Poppy spent time at the play table with her little sisters while Peony was out with their big sisters.

Rose and Talin decided the triplets were old enough to have more little siblings. There were only nine of them in the house, after all, there was room for three more.  However, as hard as they tried, through try for baby or ACR, no lullaby was heard.

I did give in and get the larger household hack, but only the one that let you have 12, not the one that allows 50.  They tried at least 6 times between me trying and ACR trying.  No luck.

Eagle Valley BaCC Spring 2: Hawking

 

I, there in the middle, am Dr. Carl Hawking.  To the far left is Galilei and Edwin, my middle children.  On my right is my companion LaShawn Cameron, carrying Marie and my daughter Tesla carrying Kepler.  If their skin is what is considered normal around here than they carry LaShawn’s last name.  If their skin is extraordinary, than I carried them myself and their last name is, of course, Hawking.

The aliens gave me this marvelous elixir.

Drinking it seemed to rejuvenate me.  I was sure I would still be capable of carrying alien children, something, I must admit, I had not been sure was possible any more due to my advanced age.

LaShawn and I discussed her moving out so there would be room for new additions.  She was worried about the money issue, afraid that without her there to work on cars the four of us would starve.  I admit, I have never doubted her dedication to my children, even those that were not hers.

I assured her that the books I had been writing were bringing in enough money that I should be able to keep the family afloat.  I had also recently found a magazine that would be willing to buy articles from me.

In fact, I had just recently maxed my creativity skill, thus assuring best selling books about my encounters with aliens.  The only problem was they kept misclassifying the books as fiction!

Edwin brought this child home from school.  I admit to being a bit confused.  Her parents were both green.  Her older sisters were green.  I did not see why being born by woohoo would ensure that she was not green.

After the flower child left, I could not be bothered to remember her name, it was time for Marie’s birthday.

I was very surprised that there were sparkles at Marie’s birthday.  I had assumed those were just around for alien children’s birth.

And Marie was certainly no alien.

Unlike Kepler who decided to sink into the floorboards and allow no one to pick him up.

Eventually LaShawn was able to convince him to come back to the surface.

Just in time for his birthday.  Kepler proved his intellectual superiority even as a baby, already considering his good report cards.

And of course, he was covered by sparkles as he aged up.

Gally decided to be the one to call up our neighbors to inform those that didn’t know that we had new family members.  I don’t believe any had been around since the newest children were born.

Kepler did have some habits I did not approve of.  His interest in the spoiled bottle instead of the glowing one was one such habit.

And I can not prove he had anything to do with this pile of fuming garbage, but I do not know where else it could have come from.  I would think he did it to be evil or mean, but truthfully, all of my alien children are completely… *shudders* … nice.

LaShawn did *not* appreciate the roaches that the garbage brought into the nursery.  Nor did I.

Especially when family members began to get sick because of them.  I had not been aware that alien children could get human sicknesses.

But it was obvious that they could.

LaShawn had an old family recipe she swore would make us all better.  Normally, I prefer scientifically proven and created medicines, but there is no pharmacy or doctor around here, as obvious by the fact that all of our children were born at home.  Since a doctor was not available, we tried this soup.  It seemed to work.

The children seemed to be getting along well, but they did have their own little cliques.

Tesla was working on her charisma.  She still wished to become an entertainer and believed charisma skill would help her there.  I tried to inform her that she would most likely end up as part of a sideshow if she continued in that direction, but she would not listen to me.

She also continued her relationship with that girl.

I continued my relationship with the aliens, of course.

Edwin rushed upstairs when he’d heard I’d been abducted.  I am not quite sure what he saw, but it did seem to shock him quite a bit.

The others gathered at the street to welcome me back.  I simply do not understand why my children do not seem excited by the alien spaceship that brought me home.

LaShawn informed me that it wouldn’t do for this child to not have a sibling close to its own age.  I reminded her that she was planning on leaving at the end of the season.  She wanted a child anyway.

Our children were exceptional.  Edwin would make a good scientist with his wish to keep everything orderly.  He would go around and make the beds of others if given the chance.

Marie would happily play with her bunny for hours.

She only removed herself from it when it was time for her to grow up.

Tesla made it in there to watch.

Surprisingly the two were not friends.  Tesla had spent more time with Kepler than Marie, but more with her girlfriend or mirror than any of the younger children.

She did seem to realize this was a problem, and willingly taught Marie how to play chess, making friends with her in the process.

I must admit, my own condition and her interest in other things was concerning to me.  If LaShawn did leave soon, it would be up to Tesla to take on a good amount of the child care, although Gally would be a teen soon.

LaShawn and I had another conversation.  She was pregnant as well and knew that two new children would fill this house to bursting.

It was time for her to leave.

I was… surprisingly discontent as I watched Edwin and Marie get into the taxi.  I knew they were only moving down the street, but it suddenly seemed a long distance away.

Kepler watched Gally do her homework and, as his thought bubble as a baby showed, was very interested.

He grew into a child then and there.

The first thing he wished was to learn to do homework.  Since Marie had left her homework behind, I used it to teach him.

LaShawn and Tesla had both wished for these stations, and we had just enough money to buy them after selling the latest car.  Tesla, it seems, was able to work on the engine, but not the body of the cars, so we needed another way to earn some money.  Robots would be useful in the house as well.

While working on that, Gally and Kepler were getting to know each other better over the chess table.  I wondered how they would feel about their newest sibling.  I knew that Tesla was hoping for another with purple skin, while Gally and Kepler wanted another that looked like them, but had yet to tell them that this set of aliens was different yet again.

Eagle Valley BaCC Winter 2: Toyonaga

As soon as Delphinia Deppiesse moved into this small, empty, unfurnished house just a small distance from her family, she called Christy.  Christy, for some unknown reason, decided she needed to sneak onto the property.

Perhaps she was hoping her proposal would be a surprise?

The two decided to get married right then and there.  Among other things, Delphinia was worried about a problem with the marriage license such as her mother had.

This would be the other thing.  Their house didn’t even have a toilet yet for Delphinia to throw up in.

Delphinia had been trying to save up all of her money to open Dance Fever, a dance school that would, hopefully, help her with her dream of becoming a ballerina.  However, no one would pay more than $3 to go in, and they didn’t stay long enough to give her any stars.  With her low motives because of the new baby, she decided to give it up for now.  She would go back after the baby was born and rethink her idea.

With no business, and no current jobs, the two decided to work on their skills.

Delphinia had brought two masterpieces that she had completed at her old house with her, so they were not completely broke, and she kept painting.

When they weren’t skilling, Delphinia and Christy kept their spirits up in other ways.

Delphinia had been trying to clean up their house before the birth of the baby when she suddenly went into labor.  Christy’s comments that adoption would be easier, did not help at the time.

They named their little boy Marcus, and at the moment, he looked just like his other mother.

Time passed very quickly, and it was soon time for Marcus’ first birthday.  Delphinia made sure to call her family and invite them over for the auspicious occasion.

The two youngest girls went home immediately, saying it was too late for them to be out, but the rest stayed as Delphinia brought Marcus to the cake.

He’s interesting looking.  I’m not sure about the hair, but I want to see how it (and the nose) looks as he transitions.

Iris took some time to play with her new nephew.

Then Delphinia took over to teach him to walk while…

The rest of the family was engaged in a cutthroat game of kicky bag.

Talin, especially, spent most of the time booing and yelling at the participants.

Soon, it was time for them all to go home.

And with Marcus asleep, there was really only one thing to do.  (Yes, a lullaby was heard, no I have no idea whose)

Nothing really happened this season, I know.  I have got to figure out what I’m doing with Dance Fever.  Any suggestions?

And I’m caught up again!  Yay!

Eagle Valley BaCC Winter 2: Beauregarde

Abe Beauregarde was feeling very good as he returned home from his new grocery.  His dream of owning the best grocery store in Eagle Valley, the start of his business empire was beginning to come true.  But an empire needed an empress as well as an heir or two.  Demi Louie understood him.

When he asked her to marry him,

she wasted no time in agreeing.  Demi had no money to her name, but she wanted to be a celebrity chef.  Abe knew there was no way the two of them could run a restaurant by themselves.  Neither of them could even cook!  But somehow he’d find a way.

Demi moved in and they got right to work on that heir.

And in no time at all, she was sure that he or she was on their way.  The only thing she hoped was that she wouldn’t be like Iris’ mother.  Three at once was far too many.

Demi convinced Abe to buy a flower station and wasted no time in making snapdragons.  Abe wanted some of those for his store.  Surely they’d make the customers more mellow.

She didn’t have time to make any for him before he headed off to work.  That day there seemed to be a ridiculous number of people that couldn’t find what they wanted.  It was a very small store, nothing was hidden from view, but at least they all appreciated the help.

Abe didn’t stay long at the store.  Unlike last week, he had something at home to worry about.

Demi gave herself a makeover and Abe assured her she was even lovelier now that he could see her face.

In no time at all, Demi was ready to give birth.

Little black haired blue eyed Donnatella was soon born. (Everybody else, when I made them in CAS I gave recessives to.  I don’t think I did with Abe, and I’m not sure why.)

The wedding party had taken so long to put together that Donnatella was a Louie, but it was finally time. (Actually, I decided every family name of which I didn’t already have a child by that name, would have at least one out of wedlock if possible.  So now Donnatella will eventually be able to start the Louie household.  Since I have way more girls than boys right now, 10-4 although you haven’t met one of them, so far it’s possible.)

Even with all that extra time and renting the chairs, still everybody stayed on the other side of the arch to watch the wedding.

But at least most of them came out of the house to watch.  The Hawking/Cameron family had been invited, but Dr. Carl answered the phone, so unsurprisingly they chose not to come.

Demi spent a lot of time talking to Talia DaVinci.  They were much alike, both loving art and having babies to talk about.  Talia was a bit put out at Demi, since Donnatella (or Donatelo), had been one of the names she wanted for her own children. (In other words, I forgot what lot I was on, and was thinking this was my artist lot when I named her.  I didn’t have a naming scheme for any but the first three households.)

Demi was a face smasher.

The party ended up being a roof raiser, and although Abe had only managed to get his grocery store up to level 6, it was considered a good season.
